Detoxic show. Dobrodiy Club launches own YouTube channel for teens

Dobrodiy Club in partnership with Plan International created a new interactive show DeToxic. The project will help teenagers understand how to deal with uncomfortable situations. How to fight bullying? What to do with offensive comments? How to ask for help?

We want everyone to feel how important this is to creating a safe and just world for all. So we are ready to figure it out together and change this situation for the better!

Our task is to talk about gender-based violence (GBV) and how to solve it.

Every child has the right to safety and respect, to be valued as a person, to have their opinion heard and not to be forced to do something they are not comfortable with. For this, it is useful for teenagers to know:

• why it is important to respect yourself and others;

• how to recognize different types of violence;

• how to defend your rights and seek help from an adult.

Already in the first episodes, the presenters together with the guests will share their own experience and, using real examples, will analyze how to defend themselves and defend their own opinion.

The video was created as part of the project “Increasing the resilience of teenagers and improving access to education in emergency situations”, which is being implemented by the CF “Dobrodiy Club” in partnership with Plan International, with the financial support of the Dutch charity platform (GIRO555).
